Proposition 28 Theater AideThe Proposition 28 Theater Aide will support teachers and students in Drama. Scope of Duties: Lead music rehearsals with pit orchestra and cast for Spring Musical Assisting with assembling pit orchestra of instrumental musicians Job Responsibilities: Facilitate student and/or community involvement in Spring Musical Rehearse groups of students as needed in the areas of choreography/dance, music, or acting Provide extra support for students Support and assist classroom teacher in implementing lesson plans & rehearsals Monitor, document and report on activities as needed Desired Skills and Experience: Artistic Background Professional or Industry Experience in Drama, Music or Dance (performance, teaching, etc.) Background and/or familiarity with theater, dance or music Experience working with grade 6-12 students Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations including youth and adults Strong oral and written communication skills, including public speaking skills Ability to work independently and be flexible
