Director of Facilities

Facilities Operations & Leadership: Lead and develop a team of maintenance and grounds professionals. Drive preventative maintenance programs and operational excellence across the site. Ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all building systems.

Physical Plant & Infrastructure Management: Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and structural systems. Maintain facility compliance, safety standards, and operational performance. Manage day-to-day physical plant operations across a multi-building campus.

Capital Projects & Vendor Management: Lead facility upgrades, renovations, and infrastructure improvement projects. Manage external contractors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and oversee project delivery from planning through completion.

Budget & Strategic Planning: Manage operating budgets and facility-related expenditures. Partner with senior leadership to develop long-term facilities strategies. Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings.

Emergency Response: Serve as the primary point of contact for facility emergencies. Maintain operational readiness and business continuity plans.

Requirements: 5+ years of senior-level facilities management, physical plant operations, or multi-site property management experience. Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Strong hands-on expertise in HVAC, MEP systems, and building infrastructure. Industry certifications such as CFM, FMP, SMA, CEFP, BOMI, APPA, IFMA, AFE, or equivalent highly desirable. Proven experience managing vendors, contractors, budgets, and capital projects. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
