LHH is recruiting for one of the most recognized names in brokerage with a national footprint and deep relationships with owners, developers, and investors across the country. This is a chance to lead that growth: a producer seat with an established brand, a steady flow of owner relationships, and dedicated underwriting support behind you.
The Opportunity:
As Director/VP, Capital Markets, you'll own your book and your fees, arranging senior debt for owners and sponsors nationwide. You'll pair a respected brand and active sponsor network with an uncapped, tiered fee split that rewards production. For the right producer, this is a platform to build on quickly.
Responsibilities:
Originate and close senior debt placements for owners, developers, and investment sponsors, from first conversation through closing.
Build and maintain relationships with banks, debt funds, CMBS lenders, and other capital sources, running competitive processes to secure the best terms for clients.
Partner with the firm's investment sales advisors to finance acquisitions, refinancings, and recapitalizations across their client base.
Work with an in-house underwriting team to structure deals, prepare financing packages, and present opportunities to lenders.
Advise clients on capital stack strategy, including senior debt sizing, loan structure, and when to bring in subordinate or equity capital.
Represent the firm at industry events and help grow the capital markets platform's profile nationally.
What You Bring:
7+ years of commercial real estate debt experience in capital markets advisory, debt brokerage, or lending origination.
A track record of personally sourcing and closing senior debt transactions, ideally in the $10–50M range.
Established relationships with active CRE lenders, including banks, debt funds, and CMBS conduits.
Strong underwriting fundamentals: loan sizing (LTV, DSCR, debt yield), cash flow analysis, and deal structuring.
An entrepreneurial, producer mindset with the drive to build and grow your own book.
