- New Jersey Brain and Spine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our established neurosurgery practice.
- We offer flexibility for candidates interested in working 4 or 5 full days per week. This is an outpatient position working collaboratively with our neurosurgeons and APP team to care for patients with a variety of brain and spine conditions.

Collaborative physician and APP environment
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage new, follow-up, and post-operative patients
- Perform histories and physicals and develop treatment plans
- Order and review appropriate diagnostic testing
- Provide post-operative care, including incision checks, suture/staple removal, medication management, and VP shunt evaluation/adjustment as appropriate
- Triage patient calls and electronic communications
- Prescribe medications as clinically appropriate
- Work closely with physicians and other APPs to support patient care and clinic workflow
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited programANCC or AANP board certification
- Active New Jersey APN license
- New Jersey CDS and DEA licensesBLS certification
- Prior Nurse Practitioner experience preferred, particularly in neurosurgery, neurology, orthopedics, spine, or another surgical specialty
