Job Details:
- Per-diem position within the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine
- Participate in daily rounds with attending cardiologists and develop and execute daily therapeutic plans
- Write H&Ps and orders for admissions including ED, procedural, outpatient, and transfers
- Complete daily progress notes and author all discharge summaries
- Coordinate multidisciplinary discharge planning
- Serve as the primary team contact for consult services, nursing, and ancillary staff
- Manage emergency situations collaboratively with nursing and house staff
- Order and interpret labs, ECGs, and diagnostic testing
- Must be a PA or NP with Board Certification in Adult Gerontology Acute Care
- Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program required
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Massachusetts required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required
- Strong emotional intelligence, exceptional clinical assessment skills, and a collaborative mindset required
