Production UnderwriterLOCATION: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) or RemoteREPORTS TO: National Practice Lead, Sports & Outdoor RecTEAM: Bluefields DistributionTYPE: Full-time · Production underwriting About Bluefields Bluefields Specialty is a next-generation, tech-enabled managing general agent that builds curated insurance programs for the specialty markets traditional carriers overlook. We bring laser focus to niche verticals and turn complex, underserved risks into outperforming portfolios, pairing seasoned underwriting judgment with a modern, AI-native platform: proprietary data, next-gen loss control, and the speed to act on both. Our flagship program, vQuip, is a leader in adventure sports and outdoor recreation risk (powersports, watersports, outfitters and guides, ski and bike, and sports complexes). We've grown fast (more than 5x premium in two years) by underwriting with discipline, not by chasing volume. This is a chance to write a fast-growing specialty book with the pen in your hand.
