Job Description: Parts Finishing / Polishing Technician – 1st Shift | $18–$25/hr Location: Columbia City, IN Pay : $18–$25/hr, based on experience Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday 7am-3pm Pro Resources Staffing Services is hiring Parts Finishing / Polishing Technicians for a precision manufacturing company in Columbia City, IN! Our client specializes in manufacturing high-quality components for the medical device industry and is looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join their team. Whether you're just getting started in manufacturing or have several years of polishing and finishing experience, we'd love to hear from you! What You'll Be Doing: Deburr, polish, and finish precision-machined metal components. Remove rough edges and imperfections using hand tools and finishing equipment. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and surface finish requirements. Work with various materials, including stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium. Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized basic production and quality and report any quality concerns. Experienced technicians may also be responsible for more complex finishing work, measuring surface finishes, troubleshooting quality issues, and helping train newer team members.

What We're Looking For: Entry-level candidates are welcome! No previous manufacturing experience required for entry-level positions. Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye to perform repetitive, hands-on work with precision. Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to stand for extended periods. High school diploma or GED required. Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Additional experience that can qualify you for higher pay: Previous manufacturing, deburring, polishing, or metal finishing experience. Experience using hand tools or powered finishing equipment. Knowledge of surface finish requirements and Ra measurements. Experience working with precision-machined components. Medical device, aerospace, or similar precision manufacturing experience. Ability to work independently and train others. Pay Based On Experience Entry-Level: $18–$20/hr – No previous manufacturing experience required. Training provided! Experienced: $20–$22/hr – 1–2 years of parts finishing or polishing experience. Senior Level: $22–$25/hr – 3+ years of experience with advanced finishing skills and the ability to train others.
