APPLY NOW (opens in a new tab)Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a client in the Gibsonia area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful connections and prefers a consistent weekday morning schedule and who has experience working with Dementia clients.
Schedule: Morning shifts (starting 10:00 AM)
Weekdays Responsibilities:
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing/grooming, toileting/incontinence care, bathing, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities
- Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
- Offer transportation and accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social events
- Monitor clients' overall well-being and report any concerns
- Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times Qualifications: At least 3-6 months of professional or personal experience in home care, caregiving, or related field (Required)
- Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation (Required)
- Must be at least 18 years old (Required)
- Negative results of either a 2-Step TB Test or TB QuantiFERON Gold Blood Test (Required)
Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance is a plus.
