55+ year established fastener manufacturer and distributor seeks and experienced Cold Heading Machine Operator.
Duties Include:
Set up and operate cold heading machines and other equipment in the manufacture of screws per drawing and specifications.
Perform daily maintenance on equipment and keep equipment clean and work area orderly.
Perform regular quality checks and document results when required using gauges, precision measuring devices and visual inspection.
Manually handle parts in process.
Participate as a trainer when necessary
Qualifications:
- Mechanical ability and knowledge of tools, dies and machinery.
- Cold Heading Operating experience preferred
- Well versed in reading blueprints, using measuring devices such as micrometer, caliper.
- Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working independently and in a team environment.
