Job Description:
Teardown Associate Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Teardown Associate for a company based in Tallassee, AL. In this role, you are responsible for the safe and efficient recovery and reclamation of parts from HVAC systems. They play a crucial role in environmental sustainability by ensuring the proper handling, recycling, and disposal of HVAC components, in compliance with industry regulations. Pay Rate$17.00 per hour Schedule and HoursMonday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm.(Must be able to work weekends and overtime as needed.)Teardown Associate Duties and Responsibilities
- Previous manufacturing or construction experience. Basic knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigerants, and their environmental impact. Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure efficient and thorough recovery. Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure efficient and thorough recovery. Handle and sort materials through the reclaim process. Identify and address any potential issues with the equipment during the recovery process. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards in all reclaim activities. Cross train and help in other areas depending on workload. Handle and sort materials through the reclaim process. - Ability to stand for extended periods and work with dust/oil.
Able to use hand and power tools, including metal cutting saws.
Works with a positive attitude and is a team player.
Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects.
Has an attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Able to handle and sort different materials.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Proper unexpired documents required to complete the Federal I-9 process.
Background and Drug Testing are required.
Must be 18 years or older.
