Job Summary:
Under the supervision and direction of the Medical Director of the Laboratory and/or other licensed Pathologist, the Pathologists' Assistant (PA) prepares and performs the gross examination and dissection of anatomic pathology specimens.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepares tissue for pathological tests including frozen section diagnosis, cytology specimens, muscle biopsies, ACE specimens, and renal biopsies.
Photographs gross and microscopic specimens and assists in preparation of educational conferences.
