About This Role: Samsung Next is seeking an Investor to join its investment and corporate development team in Mountain View, CA.About Samsung NextSamsung Next is the venture capital and corporate development arm of Samsung Electronics, investing in early-stage startups focused on artificial intelligence, robotics, and edge computing infrastructure. The team operates globally and offers a structured three-year learning program for new investors.Key Responsibilities- Source and develop relationships with founders in AI, robotics, blockchain, healthtech, and fintech- Conduct thorough due diligence on technology, teams, markets, and business models- Prepare and communicate investment cases through memos and committee discussions- Provide hands-on support to founders and portfolio companies post-investmentRequirements- Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or engineering- 3+ years of technical experience in industry, startups, or research- Demonstrated expertise in AI, robotics, or edge/cloud infrastructure- Strong relationship-building and analytical capabilities- Availability for regular travel and global meeting participation- Previous angel investing experience preferred (no prior VC experience required)Compensation$175,000–$195,000 base salary. Hybrid work arrangement.
