Job Description:
As a Machine Operator – Laminator Operator, you will help maintain workplace safety, product quality, and production output while ensuring compliance with internal specifications. You will work closely with Quality Assurance, Research and Development, and Engineering to ensure the coating process meets established standards. This hands-on opportunity is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working as part of a production team.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor product quality at the coating station and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Assist with blade and setup changes, preventive maintenance, and safety inspections
- Maintain clean and organized work areas while managing inventory levels
- Follow safety procedures and manufacturing specifications
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and recommend improvements to production processes and workplace safety
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to read gauges, meters, and length measurements
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and safety requirements
- Team-oriented approach and effective communication skills
- Willingness to operate a forklift when required
- Ability to work in a high-temperature environment during the summer
