About Automotive Unlimited Body Shop Automotive Unlimited Body Shop is a growing automotive and collision repair company focused on delivering high-quality repairs and an exceptional customer experience. We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team remotely and take ownership of key financial operations and reporting.
Position Summary:
The Finance Manager will oversee the company’s financial operations, reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and financial controls. This individual will work directly with company leadership to provide accurate financial information, improve financial processes, monitor profitability, and support continued business growth. We are looking for someone who is hands-on, highly organized, financially savvy, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations for the company
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
- Monitor cash flow, revenue, expenses, and profitability
- Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts
- Perform and oversee bank and account reconciliations
- Review financial transactions for accuracy and proper documentation
- Monitor business and job-level profitability
- Prepare financial reports for ownership and management
- Identify opportunities to reduce expenses and improve financial performance
- Assist with payroll and financial administration
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Work with external accountants, tax professionals, and financial partners
- Establish and maintain strong financial controls and procedures
- Ensure confidential financial information is properly protected
- Provide management with financial analysis and recommendations based on company data
- Required Experience & Skills
- Candidates must be familiar with and have hands-on experience using:
- Ramp – expense management, corporate cards, approvals, and expense reporting
- QuickBooks / QuickBooks Online – accounting, reconciliations, reporting, AP/AR, and financial recordsADP – payroll and payroll-related financial processes
Additional requirements:
- 3+ years of finance, accounting, or financial management experience
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage confidential financial information
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment
- Strong communication skills
Automotive, collision repair, dealership, or service-industry finance experience is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Experience managing finances for an automotive or body shop business
- Experience with multi-location operations is a plus
- Experience analyzing job profitability and operating margins
- Experience working directly with business owners or executive leadership
Compensation & Benefits:
- $85,000–$110,000 annual salary, depending on experience
