Attend formal training, vendor-led instruction, and technical briefings to develop in-depth knowledge of assigned technical systems. Observe system operations, maintenance activities, and workflows to fully understand system functionality and sustainment requirements. Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and operators to gather technical information and operational best practices. Develop step-by-step procedures, diagrams, and reference materials to support system operation and sustainment. Maintain version control and update documentation as systems evolve or procedures change. Work with system vendors, engineers, and stakeholders to gather technical data and validate documentation accuracy. Participate in technical discussions to ensure manuals accurately reflect system capabilities, maintenance requirements, and operational procedures. Incorporate vendor documentation, training materials, and technical guidance into standardized government documentation. Attend system demonstrations, operational tests, and maintenance activities to capture procedures and lessons learned. Support the development of operational workflows and maintenance processes for documentation purposes. Provide clarification and updates to documentation based on user feedback and operational experience.
