Competitive Base Salary + Individual & Team Performance Incentives Burco Staffing is an established physician recruitment and staffing agency that is seeking an experienced Travel Nurse Recruiter to spearhead their Travel Nursing team. This is a hands-on recruitment and leadership position for someone who enjoys making placements, mentoring recruiters, and improving team performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruit, screen, and place travel nurses in contract assignments
- Manage candidates throughout the recruitment, credentialing, onboarding, and placement process
- Develop long-term relationships with nurses to support extensions and future assignments
- Take a meaningful role in training and overseeing a team of recruiters.
- Recommend travel-nursing recruitment best practices and process improvements
- Work closely with agency leadership to support continued growth
What We're Looking for:- Strong understanding of the most impactful recruitment methodologies Demonstrated ability to successfully recruit and place travel nurses in contract assignments
- Familiarity with credentialing, compliance, onboarding, extensions, and redeployment
- Leadership, training, or recruiter-management experience is strongly preferred
- Strong sourcing, communication, and candidate-relationship skills
- Organized, accountable, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment
- Able to recruit independently while supporting the success of a team
