Apparel Product Developer Eagle Promotions | Las Vegas, NV | On-SiteAbout the Opportunity Eagle Promotions is seeking an experienced Apparel Product Developer to manage garment development from initial concept through finished production. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of apparel construction, garment specifications, tech packs, sourcing, and overseas manufacturing. This is a hands-on product development role requiring the ability to independently manage multiple projects, communicate with factories, and ensure products meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain accurate, comprehensive technical packages (tech packs), with a focus on knit tops.
Translate design concepts into production-ready garments, including measurements, specifications, construction details, and grading.
Manage the development process from initial prototype through production approval.
Review garment samples for fit, sizing, construction, fabric, trims, colors, and embellishments.
Attend fittings and update graded specification sheets based on fit evaluations.
Work directly with domestic and overseas factories to resolve development issues and maintain production timelines.
Identify and evaluate apparel suppliers, materials, and manufacturing methods to improve quality, cost, and efficiency.
Coordinate sample development and approvals with the Creative Sales team.
Prepare production spreadsheets, purchase order worksheets, and related documentation for domestic and imported apparel.
Research apparel trends, fabrics, trims, and manufacturing techniques.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of apparel product development.
College degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field.
Hands-on experience creating and managing apparel tech packs.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, measurements, specifications, grading, and fit.
Understanding of textiles, including knit and woven fabrics.
Experience with apparel sourcing, production costing, and factory communication.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to travel internationally to factories in China, India, and Central America, as needed.
