APPLY NOWSeeking a full-time Licensed Hydrographer/Geophysicist to process and analyze high-resolution seafloor data remotely, focusing on data quality, client education, and contributing to industry standards.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct first-pass analysis of multibeam, sidescan, magnetometer, and sub-bottom profiler data using commercial software
Create data products and serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding data quality and interpretations
Collaborate on defining uncertainty and accuracy in ocean data, contributing to government standards and guidelinesRequired qualificationsExperience processing and reporting on at least two of the following: MBES, SSS, magnetometer, sub-bottom profiler
Proficiency with ArcGIS, QGIS, and/or AutoCAD
Experience writing data reports for commercial clients
Attention to detail with the ability to identify artifacts in data
Curiosity and a willingness to learn new tools and approaches
