Job Description: Press Machine Helper / Operator
Type: Full-time, temp to hire
Pay: $17-$18 / hour depending upon experience
Schedule:
7am-4:30pm, Monday – Thursday; 7am-11am FridaysOT: Optional overtime available as needed
Location: EuclidWhat you need to be successful in this role:
Experience in a factory setting, stamping or any type of production equipment preferred Prior press machine operator experience a plus Dexterity and comfortable working with hands a plus Good communication skills Quality oriented, attention to detail Safety oriented Self-starter and work with minimal supervision after initial training period Able to stand on feet and be mobile for duration of shift (physically demanding)
Responsibilities / Activities:- Assist large press operators in loading and unloading materials; experience with cranes and other lifting equipment a plus
- Operate press machines to create products according to specifications
- Keep daily basic production/cycle counts, computer data entry for scanning and logging production counts
General labor activities such as routine cleaning, trash removal, basic groundskeeping or assisting in other production activities.
Education / Experience:- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in the stamping industry or piece/part manufacturing is preferred
- Computer literacy (Windows/Office environment)
Physical Demands: Standing and walking – 95%; Sitting – 5%.Ability to lift 50 pounds.#zr
