Carilion Clinic is seeking a hospital-based Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist to provide expert psychiatric care and clinical teaching to residents and medical students at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Radford, Virginia. This position offers the flexibility to work from home part of the time via telemedicine and participate in integrated and collaborative care initiatives. Practice Info Hospital-based Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry role based at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Radford, Virginia Carilion New River Valley Medical Center features 110 medical-surgical beds and 32 beds dedicated to inpatient psychiatry Hospital campus includes an office-based opioid treatment clinic (OBOT) and a multidisciplinary outpatient psychiatry clinic Dedicated Emergency Psychiatry service operating throughout the system Consultation-Liaison service spans all seven Carilion hospitals, including rural and critical access hospitals, by leveraging telemedicine
Responsibilities:- Provide expert psychiatric care and clinical teaching to residents and medical students
- Provide consultation via telemedicine with the opportunity to work from home part of the time
- Participate in integrated care, collaborative care, and quality improvement
- CompensationMinimum starting salary: $286,875 Maximum starting salary: $358,207 Eligible to participate in Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs

Qualifications:
Fellowship-trained in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, or completed training in Internal Medicine-Psychiatry, or Family Practice-Psychiatry, or similar Two or more years of substantial experience in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry is acceptableH-1B and J-1 visa sponsorship available
