Long term Contract Job Description: Preferably 6-8 years’ experience as an Oracle Linux system administrator managing a large scale of UNIX environment Working knowledge to install, configure & troubleshoot: Linux\Unix operating systems LDOMS, zfs file systems, and zones on prem and different cloud services environments Experience in Shell scripting Experience in supporting and troubleshooting networking services and protocols to support Linux\Unix environment i.e. TCP/IP, SMTP, SNMP, SSL, SFTP, HTTP, NIS, DNS, NFS, LDAP, SSH, Sendmail, etc. Working knowledge of configuring and managing Oracle virtual technology: LDOMS, Zones/containers Experience in supporting Oracle Applications Server, WebLogic, and Oracle RDBMS in/Linux operating systems Experience in configuring and managing Oracle Storage Area Network (SAN), Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM), and Oracle Cluster File System (OCFS) Experience in Symantec NetBackup and VEEAM for file systems backup and recovery plans Knowledge of approaches, tools and techniques for recognizing and resolving technical (hardware, software, application) problems Strong interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and perform in a high-paced/high-pressure environment Ability to work independently or within a group to solve complex problems.
