Design Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities: Design severe and general service control valves to customer specifications and internal design standardsSelect appropriate materials and hardwarePrepare and review detailed SolidWorks assemblies and bills of materialRelease Work Orders to manufacturing/assemblyReview customer design specifications and ensure complianceMaintain design library and project document filesPrepare and revise valve drawingsProvide technical support to customers, vendors, and production personnel Write test procedures to meet internal and customer requirementsWork to internal deadlines for engineering deliverablesQualificationsWorking knowledge of MS OfficeAdvanced CAD Software (SolidWorks preferred) Great interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to interpret manufacturing drawingsKnowledge of mechanical design and simulation /analysis Basic understanding of thermodynamicsBasic understanding in principles of flow as well as fluid statics/dynamicsBasic understanding of properties of engineering materials
