Description:

This role owns both the architecture and implementation of wiring systems for prefabricated harnesses a scope that is often split into two separate roles at larger companies, but is combined here. The ideal candidate has experience as a router or packager who has since transitioned into making independent design decisions, and is comfortable coordinating closely with mechanical engineering, since harness design is a direct input into the broader mechanical integration process. The work spans products at every stage of maturity from a single platform currently in active production to multiple platforms still in early concept or first-hardware phases. This person will split time roughly 80% at a computer designing and routing harnesses, and 20% on the production floor verifying that designs are being built correctly.
