Position: Induction Furnace Operator

Location: PST: 24200 Plymouth Road, Redford

Hours: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM Monday-FridayJOB TITLES AND EQUIPMENTFurnace Operator – Heat Treatment employees are expected to meet the abilities of maintain furnace control, inspection of parts before and after the heat treat process, examination of parts, reading computer controls, examination of processed parts. PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE POSITIONThe work environment for this position is noisy, oily, fast paced and physically demanding. It involves standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks with exposure to oily conditions and dust, requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hearing protection, safety glasses, and appropriate footwear.
