Meat Room HelperDay Shift:
Start Time 8am – 4:30pm or 7am – 3:30pm NO WEEKENDS Pay: $17.44 p/h Position summary: This position entails wrapping, packaging and stocking of meat product as well as cleaning and sanitation.
Responsibilities:
Operate Power Pallet Jacks, Box Cutters, Grinders, Wrapping Machines, Cry – O – Vac, Cherry Pickers and other equipment in safe manner. Maintain communication with coworkers and supervisors. Report to work on time as scheduled. Pay attention to detail. Follow directions precisely. Utilize proper safety equipment Utilize Lockout/Tagout procedure. Select product for special orders. Keep Meat Room and equipment clean and organized. Stack pallets properly. Sweeping, dusting and/or mopping as needed. Maintain Food Safety standards regarding cleanliness and hygiene both facility and personal.
Position Requirements:
Prior experience working in refrigerated warehouse or other food/beverage warehouse. Ability to perform basic math functions. Ability to understand and follow direction exactly. Experience utilizing Windows based operating systems preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with others. Dependable, reliable and trustworthy.
