Job Summary:
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform PET/CT and general nuclear medicine procedures ensuring adherence to facility protocols.
Maintain and operate nuclear medicine equipment, prioritizing equipment safety and functionality.
Coordinate patient care within interdisciplinary teams, floating between Mission Viejo and Mission Laguna Beach as necessary.
Provide accurate imaging and diagnostic results to aid in patient treatment plans.
Engage in safe practices for the storage and disposal of radioactive materials.
Participate in weekend and holiday rotations to ensure continuous patient care.
Qualifications:- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, including PET/CT experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification and valid ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification; California State License required.
- Proficiency with Siemens imaging equipment strongly preferred.
- Prior experience with EPIC charting system and trauma level II facilities preferred.
- Ability to float between facilities and adapt to various shift times including rotating weekends.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
