First Grade Interim Teacher Established in 1958, St. Timothy School is a TK through 8th Grade Catholic School, where for over 50 years, we have educated generations of children, instilling in them character, compassion and values for life. Seeking a full-time First Grade Interim Teacher beginning November 2026 to June 2027. Qualified candidates should possess the following:a minimum of two years experience teaching in grades K-2ability to create a classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth, which motivates students to develop skills, knowledge and a love for learningpatient with clear and consistent expectations to promote independence and growthability to evaluate student's academic, social, and spiritual growth through formative and summative assessments and hold parent-teacher-student conferences when neededflexible and positive team playerskilled in developing lesson plans following common core & state standards which integrate technologypracticing catholic preferredability to effectively communicate orally and in writingability to work well with others and to be a positive team player Wage Range The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs. MATERIALS Multiple subject teaching credential required. B.A. in education or related field. Masters Degree preferred. Minimum two years experience teaching in grades K-3. Preferred candidate should be proficient in using technology to direct instruction and enhance student learning.
