Job Description
Qualifications:- Illinois Nursing Licensure
- Two (2) years hospice or home care experience
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience (i.e. charge nurse)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Associates degree in nursing required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
Monitors all Nursing and CNA staff to ensure that planning and delivery of quality, cost-effective hospice care is provided through scheduling efforts that reflect both high and low volume.
Take on-call, as required.
Spend at least two days weekly as a patient care provider.
Community Interaction:
Help to maintain on-going physician, nursing home, and hospital relationships.
Provides education to groups seeking information about hospice and the hospice philosophy.
