Practice OverviewAcademic and clinical Dermatology position with resident involvement (9 residents in the program)
Mohs surgeon on staff; Mohs program and education in place
High-volume clinic model: approximately 100 patients/day with 15-minute visits
Call is 1:6 and described as very light
ScheduleClinic hours: 8:00am-4:30pm
4 days in clinic, 1 day dedicated to academics
Call schedule: 1:6 (very light)
Clinic visit structure: 15-minute appointments
Compensation & BenefitsBase salary: $90K (academics) and $225K (clinical)
Signing bonus:
$5K-$10K; retention bonus: $20K after 3 years
Quarterly incentives (paid quarterly); year 2 income potential noted as $400K
5 weeks vacation accrued; sick time accrues 1 day every 2 weeks; CME: $3K (additional funds if needed); 8-9 insurance plan options
Candidate RequirementsDermatologist (American Board of Dermatology diplomate or board-eligible)
Illinois medical license required or eligible
Visa support: accepts O-1 and H-1B; not accepting J-1
Comfort with a high-volume clinic pace (15-minute visits)
