Press Brake Operator

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Job Description: Our client, a fast-paced, growing metal fabrication company, is looking to hire skilled press brake operators (2+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE) for FIRST SHIFT (5 AM - 3 PM) and SECOND SHIFT (3 PM - 1 AM). Press Brake Operators prepare production equipment for operation by making equipment adjustments and assisting with equipment changeovers. Must be a safety-conscious worker.

Responsibilities: Promote Safety as the number one priority for all employees. Maintains quality standards and customer specifications by conducting first-piece and in-process inspection; completing production control charts; analyzing recordings and making equipment adjustments. Helps train others for production job responsibilities by demonstrating operational procedures. Maintains machine operation by solving production process problems; making equipment adjustments; reporting production and quality data; reporting decisions made; referring questions to supervisor. Maintains production operations by following policies and procedures (equipment, raw and in-process materials, and finished goods); reporting needed changes. Ensures operation of equipment by following preventative maintenance policies and procedures; reporting needed changes and repairs. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed through cooperation with team members and acceptance of re-assignments as directed by supervisors. Report labor hours by entering information correctly in terminal. Perform proper maintenance and cleaning of the equipment. Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor. ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEMust have high school / GED.
