APPLY NOWExperienced in commercial printing, the full-time remote Prepress Operator will manage file reviews, resolve prepress issues, and prepare press-ready layouts while ensuring print quality and meeting production deadlines.
Key responsibilities:
Review incoming files for specifications, including trim size, bleed, and image resolution
Use industry-standard software to resolve prepress issues and manage PDF proofs for client approval
Coordinate with account managers to balance production priorities and communicate file issues effectivelyRequired qualificationsAt least 3 years of hands-on prepress experience with a commercial offset printing company
Proven experience in imposing print and preparing files for production
Strong working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro on a Mac
Experience with Enfocus PitStop for preflight, PDF inspection, and file correction
Solid understanding of commercial print production, including colour separations and print marks
