Job Description:
We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated individual to join our optical team! This position will work between our Lake Geneva and Woodstock locations and offers the opportunity to learn all aspects of the optical field in a high-medical optometry practice.
What You’ll Learn and DoAssist with optical testing and patient care.
Help with front desk duties, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and greeting patients.
Learn optical dispensing and help patients select frames that fit their needs, style, and prescription.
Assist patients with choosing eyewear that fits their lifestyle, vision needs, and budget.
Support our doctors and team in providing excellent patient care.
Help with daily office operations and learn the many different aspects of a busy medical and optical practice.
What We’re Looking For:
A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
A medical background or experience in the medical field would be very helpful, as we are a high-medical optometry office.
Someone dependable, organized, and comfortable working with patients.
A team player who is flexible and willing to work at both locations.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Optical or medical office experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person!
Hours: Approximately 30–40 hours per week, depending on the needs of the office.
