Auburn, Indiana: Monday through Friday 11:30 PM to 7:30 AMPay $17.00 per hourFXI is a leader in foam innovation serving the bedding, furniture, industrial, home and office, healthcare, and transportation markets. With advanced research, multiple manufacturing locations across North America, and a strong culture of innovation, FXI produces finished goods, sub-assemblies, raw materials, and foam solutions used in everyday products around the world. We are currently hiring dependable team members for first shift production roles at our Auburn facility. This position focuses on assembling and packing bedding components while meeting production schedules and customer quality expectations. Associates glue and assemble foam components to build bed structures according to work orders, identify different foam types, create and issue tags using SAP, and inspect products for accuracy and quality. Team members measure dimensions, prepare items for packaging, and work toward daily production targets. In the packaging portion of the role, employees read and follow customer packaging instructions, inspect and measure finished pieces, operate equipment such as a convoluter when needed, generate SAP tags, poly wrap and label products, and stage materials for shipment. Employees must be willing to cross train and work in all areas of the department as production needs require. This includes the lamination department where foam sheets are glued together to create larger foam products. Associates working in lamination may come into contact with adhesive materials, and glue may occasionally get on clothing during the production process. Experience in manufacturing is helpful but not required, and training will be provided for the right candidate. Applicants should be able to use basic math to count materials, follow written and verbal instructions, and apply practical problem solving on the production floor. The job requires frequent lifting of 51 to 100 pounds, along with pushing or pulling stacks of foam weighing up to 100 pounds. This is a steady first shift opportunity with a well-established manufacturer offering long-term stability and training for motivated employees who want to grow in production manufacturing.#AuburnMeet Your Recruiterlmelchi Locally-owned since 1986, Pro Resources is an employment services firm specializing in short-term, long-term and direct hire staffing in the Industrial, Clerical and Professional job markets.
