Midwest CDL A Driver

Premier Transportation is seeking reliable Midwest CDL A Drivers to join our dedicated fleet. In this role, you’ll operate late-model equipment across regional Midwest routes, ensuring safe and on-time deliveries for a diverse customer base. Responsibilities include conducting pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate electronic logs, securing freight, and complying with all DOT and company safety standards. Operate CDL A tractor-trailers on regional Midwest routes safely and efficiently Perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues Maintain accurate electronic logs and required DOT documentation Secure and handle freight to prevent damage and ensure load safety Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies and regulations Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members Manage schedules to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries Report incidents, delays, or route issues promptly to dispatch Care for assigned equipment, keeping trucks clean and road-ready Support a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement CDL Class A driving Vehicle inspection (pre/post trip) DOT compliance Electronic logging devices (ELD) Freight securement Route planning Time management Defensive driving Basic truck maintenance checks Customer service Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid CDL Class A license Clean driving record (MVR) DOT medical certification TWIC card preferred Hazmat endorsement preferred
