ER Travel Nurse

Advantis Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced ER Travel Nurse for a mids shift assignment in Austin, TX. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality emergency care, including triage, rapid assessments, and stabilization of diverse patient populations. You’ll collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, administer medications, manage IVs, monitor cardiac rhythms, and maintain accurate EMR documentation. Provide rapid triage, assessment, and stabilization of emergency patients Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per provider orders Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient responses to interventions Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care plans Operate and monitor emergency equipment and technology safely Document care accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans Adhere to infection control, safety, and hospital policies at all times Emergency nursing Triage assessment IV insertion and medication administration Cardiac monitoring and EKG interpretation ACLS protocols PALS/ENPC pediatric emergency care Wound care and suturing assistance Ventilator and airway management support Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation Infection control and patient safety Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Active RN license in Texas or compact state BLS (Basic Life Support) certification ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification PALS or ENPC certification preferred Minimum 2 years recent ER/ED nursing experience Travel nursing experience preferred
