Job Description: Slitter Operator – 1st Shift
Pay: $24.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience

Location: Roseville, MN
Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM–3:00 PMFriday: 6:00 AM–12:00 PMPosition Overview
We are looking for a Slitter Operator to join a growing label and packaging manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating slitting equipment used to convert rolls of material into finished products while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards. Previous slitting experience is preferred, but candidates with experience in web handling, laminating, coating, printing, converting, or similar machine operation are encouraged to apply. Training is available for candidates with strong machine operating experience and mechanical aptitude.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up and operate slitting equipment for production runs
- Load and handle rolls and other production materials
- Monitor equipment throughout production and make necessary adjustments
- Inspect finished material for quality and customer specifications
- Support laminating, coating, and other converting processes as needed
- Follow work orders, production instructions, and operating procedures
- Perform basic troubleshooting and report equipment or maintenance issues
- Accurately complete production and material documentation
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Qualifications
Required:- Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment
- Attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:- Slitting machine experience
- Web handling experience
- Laminating or coating experience
- Label, printing, packaging, or converting manufacturing experience
- Machine setup and adjustment experience
