Maintenance AssociateRural King is seeking a Maintenance Associate to maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized store environment. This role supports routine cleaning, basic repairs, safety, and upkeep of the store and surrounding areas. Related Job Titles Maintenance AssociateStore Maintenance AssociateRetail Maintenance AssociateFacilities AssociateJanitorial AssociateCustodianStore Custodian ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do Cleaning & Maintenance Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the store and surrounding areas by cleaning floors, restrooms, breakrooms, fixtures, displays, parking lots, and exterior areas; operating a floor scrubber; emptying trash; and restocking supplies. Perform basic maintenance and repairs, including changing light bulbs, addressing minor plumbing issues, and repairing damaged fixtures. Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance needs, and malfunctioning equipment. Store Support Assist with unloading trucks, stocking, zoning, and other store activities as needed. Provide friendly and professional support to customers and associates. Participate in cross-training and required learning opportunities. QualificationsPhysical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift, push, and/or pull 30 pounds repetitively and 3150 pounds intermittently. Ability to navigate and access all areas of the store and related facilities. Ability to perform cleaning, maintenance, and physical store-support tasks. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and associates. Close vision required for computer-related activities.
