The Laundry Attendant is responsible for sorting, organizing, and distributing hotel linens to support daily housekeeping operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive and sort soiled linens from the laundry chute.
Separate linens by type and category.
Organize and maintain designated linen storage areas.
Deliver and distribute linens to assigned locations throughout the hotel.
Ensure linens are properly arranged and stored.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Follow hotel safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
Assist with other laundry-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous hotel or laundry experience preferred but not required.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and move linens throughout the shift.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
