Shop Helper

Pay: $20.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Employment Type: Full-Time About the Position Shop works with metal machining, woodworking, and stone fabrication, offering a hands-on environment with a variety of materials, tools, and projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning new skills, and helping keep a busy shop organized, clean, and running efficiently. Previous shop experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.

Responsibilities: Assist machinists, woodworkers, and stone fabricators with daily shop tasks. Load, unload, move, and organize materials and finished products. Help prepare materials and work areas for fabrication and production. Operate basic shop tools and equipment as trained. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris. Assist with measuring, cutting, sanding, grinding, and other basic tasks as needed. Maintain tools, equipment, and shop supplies. Follow all shop safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment. Perform general labor and other duties as needed to support the team.

Qualifications: Reliable, punctual, and motivated with a strong work ethic. Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting and moving materials. Willingness to learn and follow instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to working safely. Previous experience in a machine shop, woodworking shop, construction, or stone fabrication is helpful but not required. Compensation & Schedule $20.00 per hour Monday through Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Consistent weekday schedule with weekends off.
