Role overview
Title: Mechanical Assembler / Shop Support
Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Location: Rogers, MN
Compensation: $20.00–$22.00 per hour

Core responsibilities:
- Assemble steel parts and subassemblies using hand tools and shop equipment
- Interpret and follow work instructions and standard procedures
- Verify quality and dimensional accuracy of completed work
- Move and stage materials and components throughout the shop
- Support production needs across different departments
- Operate assigned equipment safely and per training
- Adapt to shifting priorities and assignments as needed
- Sustain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow safety protocols and shop rules at all times
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with your team and supervisors
- Complete additional shop and production tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GEDPrior assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
- Comfortable with hand tools and common shop equipment
- Good manual dexterity and hand–eye coordination
- Clear, respectful communication skills
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willing to rotate among tasks and departments based on need
- Open to overtime as required
- Physical requirements & working conditions
- Active role with frequent standing, bending, reaching, carrying, and repetitive motions
- Regular exposure to steel parts, hand tools, shop equipment, and manufacturing processes
- Safely lift and handle up to 50 lbsPPE must be worn as required
- Fast-paced shop environment; overtime may be required
