What You Will Do:
Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on local, short-haul, regional, highway, and interstate routes while following DOT regulations and Romark safety standards.
Transport freight efficiently between customer locations, warehouses, distribution centers, and company facilities, helping keep supply chains moving.
Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip tractor and trailer inspections, identify maintenance concerns, and report issues promptly.
Secure, inspect, and deliver loads accurately while maintaining a strong commitment to freight quality, on-time performance, and customer service.
Communicate professionally with dispatchers, warehouse teams, customers, and leadership regarding route status, delivery needs, and operational updates.
Maintain electronic logs, trip reports, delivery documentation, and other records using onboard technology and mobile applications.
Support trailer moves, equipment positioning, and refrigerated trailer operations when assigned, including monitoring temperature settings.
What You Bring:
You are dependable, customer-focused, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
You hold a valid CDL Class A license, DOT Medical Card and can confidently operate tractor-trailers in urban, suburban, and highway environments.
You demonstrate a strong understanding of DOT compliance, safe driving practices, hours-of-service requirements, and transportation regulations.
You can conduct vehicle inspections, secure freight properly, and recognize conditions that may affect vehicle or load safety.
You communicate clearly, manage time effectively, and take pride in representing your employer professionally at every stop.
You are available for a flexible schedule that may include occasional overtime based on business needs.
Pay and Benefits:
Compensation is $30 hourly.
