The facility features strong physician and support staff infrastructure, providing locum providers with an organized and collaborative work environment with inpatient APC support during weekday coverage. Opportunity: Physician - Internal Medicine - Interventional Cardiology
Job Details:
- Locum Tenens opportunity for an Interventional Cardiologist with 12-15 average patient encounters per shift5-day long weekend coverage required (Thursday morning to Tuesday morning preferred), every 1 in 3 weekends beginning in January on an ongoing monthly basis
- Provider must be able to work until at least 7:00 AM Monday morning - no early departures on Sunday evening
- Provider will hold the pager for the full duration of the assignment
- Scheduled as a 9-hour regular day plus night call Monday through Friday, and 24-hour coverage Saturday and Sunday
Weekday coverage includes cardiology inpatient service supported by an inpatient APCCoverage responsibilities include hospital rounding and consults, urgent inpatient caths, temporary pacemakers, STEMIs, stat echos, and other urgent inpatient needsTEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography) experience is required
Nuclear Cardiology experience is required
Board certification required; minimum board certification eligible considered
Must hold an active Minnesota medical license or hold an IMLC license
Estimated credentialing timeframe is 45-120 days
Nearest airport is Brainerd Regional Airport or Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport
Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
