Optical Experience Opportunity Love working with people? Interested in eye care? Come help patients see their best! We're hiring an Optician 1 to join a busy eye care practice. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys customer service, working with patients, and learning something new every day. Optical experience is a plus, but it's not required! We're willing to train someone with the right attitude, strong customer service skills, and a desire to learn.
What You'll Do:
As an Optician 1, you'll play an important role in creating a great experience for every patient.
Your responsibilities will include:- Welcoming and assisting patients in a friendly, professional manner
- Answering phones and assisting patients with questions
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments
- Checking patients in and out
- Assisting patients with their optical needs
- Helping patients navigate their visit and understand next steps
- Performing front desk and administrative duties
- Maintaining accurate patient information and documentation
- Providing exceptional customer service throughout the patient experience
- Working closely with the practice team to keep the office running smoothly
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, professional, and comfortable working with patients.
You'll ideally have:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A positive, personable attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- The ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Basic computer skills
- Professional presentation 1+ year of customer service or related experience preferred
Optical or healthcare experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person!
