Job Description Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Service Technician to maintain, diagnose and repair residential and/or commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, customer service experience, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation systems
- Perform routine maintenance on residential and commercial HVAC equipment
- Install new HVAC systems and retrofit existing systems when needed
- Test and calibrate HVAC systems for proper functionality
- Interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs, options, and system care
- Complete work orders, service reports, and maintain accurate records
- Comply with all local HVAC codes, safety regulations, and company policies
- Maintain tools and inventory in service vehicle
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours service requests
Qualifications:- High school diploma or GED requiredHVAC certification or diploma from technical school (EPA 608 certification required)2+ years of field experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Familiarity with HVAC tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces, attics, crawlspaces, or rooftops
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions
- Standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders for extended periods
