We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join a collaborative project between the Oncogenesis and Antitumoral Drugs Group (GOA), led by Dr. Ugutz Unzueta, and the Pathophysiology of Lipid-Related Diseases Group (PLRD), led by Dr. Noemí Rotllan, at the Sant Pau Research Institute (IR Sant Pau) in Barcelona.
The Project:
Funded by Horizon Europe (UNSOLVED-CARDS, Horizon-HLTH-2026-01-DISEASE-11), exploring sex-specific and shared mechanisms in cardiovascular disease to develop targeted therapies.
Key Scope Rational design, production, and characterization of cell-targeted protein nanoparticles.
Cellular biodistribution in cardiovascular cell types (VSMCs, ECs, macrophages).
In vivo preclinical validation, biodistribution (IVIS), and safety/efficacy in atherosclerosis mouse models.
Offer details Duration: 4 years and 9 months (Full-time).

Salary: ~€35,000 gross/year.
