Field Marketing Representative | Base Pay + Uncapped Commission

Pay: $75,000 - $150,000+ per year

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Houston, TX

What You’ll Do: As a Field Marketing Representative, you’ll spend your workday out in Houston-area neighborhoods representing DC Pines and connecting directly with homeowners. You’ll learn how to: Start conversations with homeowners at their door Identify homes that may benefit from a roofing or window inspection Introduce homeowners to DC Pines and what we offer Use our proven communication system to generate interest Schedule qualified homeowners for inspections with our team Handle common questions and objections confidently Track your activity and results Work alongside a competitive, supportive field team Represent the DC Pines brand professionally in the communities we serve To be completely transparent: this is door-to-door field marketing. If the idea of approaching new people sounds miserable to you, this probably isn’t your job. But if you’re naturally social, competitive, persuasive, energetic, or the kind of person who can strike up a conversation with just about anyone, you may be very good at this. And being good at it pays. Base Pay + Uncapped Commission We believe strong performance should be rewarded. That’s why our Field Marketing Representatives receive base pay plus commission, rather than relying solely on commission like many traditional door-to-door positions. Your base gives you consistency. Your performance gives you the opportunity to earn more. There is no cap on what you can earn through commissions, so the better you become at creating quality opportunities, the greater your earning potential. For competitive people, that’s where this job gets fun. You can learn the system, improve your numbers, see exactly where you’re getting better, and watch that improvement show up in your paycheck. 12 Weeks of Paid Training We don’t expect you to show up already knowing how to do this. You’ll begin with our 12-week paid training program designed to build your skills and confidence in the field. During training, you’ll learn: How we identify homes that may need roofing or window inspections Our proven approach for starting conversations with homeowners How to communicate what DC Pines offers clearly and professionally Scripts and conversation frameworks How to respond to common objections How to build confidence approaching new people How to track and improve your performance How successful Field Marketers structure their day You’ll receive coaching, repetition, role-play, and real‑world field experience so you aren’t simply handed a script and sent into a neighborhood hoping for the best. Why DC Pines? We’re building something bigger than another home improvement company. DC Pines is a growing Houston company with a culture centered around people, performance, development, accountability, and having a genuinely good time while doing great work. We invest heavily in training because we believe great people can learn great skills. You’ll have leadership, coaching, teammates who want to see you succeed, and a clear system to follow. We work hard. We celebrate wins. We expect people to show up, be accountable, and contribute to the team. And we believe the people helping us grow should have the opportunity to grow their income right along with the company. Previous experience in field marketing, canvassing, customer service, hospitality, retail, athletics, or other people-facing roles is helpful, but not required. If you’re personable, competitive, willing to work, and ready to learn, we’d like to meet you.
