Full-Time | 1st Shift Standard Bent Glass is looking for Production Operatorsto join our manufacturing team. We currently have1st shift opportunities available as an Eastman Cutting operator. This is a hands-on manufacturing position for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
What You’ll Do:
Operate and assist with production equipment according to established procedures.
Prepare and handle glass and materials for production.
Follow work instructions, production specifications, and established processes.
Monitor products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality requirements are met.
Inspect finished and in-process products for defects or quality concerns.
Safely handle and position glass and materials.
Monitor equipment and communicate any problems or abnormalities to the appropriate personnel.
Complete required production and quality documentation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Work with Production and Quality teams to meet production and quality goals.
Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous manufacturing, production, glass, or machine operation experience is a plus, butnot required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to learn equipment, processes, and production procedures.
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to lift up to50 lbs.
Must be willing to work the assigned shift and overtime as needed.
Pay & Schedule
Starting Pay: $19.00/hour1st Shift
