A Level Automotive Technician

Position Responsibilities Include: Perform accurate diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles. Diagnose complex electrical, drivability, starting/charging, HVAC, and mechanical concerns. Perform engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, and exhaust repairs. Use professional diagnostic equipment, scan tools, service information, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose problems. Perform advanced diagnostic testing, including electrical testing and computer-controlled systems. Complete inspections and identify needed maintenance and repairs. Clearly document diagnostic findings, repairs performed, and recommended services. Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Communicate effectively with service advisors and other technicians regarding vehicle concerns and repair recommendations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow proper safety procedures and manufacturer repair procedures. Assist less-experienced technicians when needed and contribute to a positive team environment.

Qualifications: 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience preferred. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Ability to diagnose problems rather than simply replace parts. Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge. Ability to use scan tools, diagnostic equipment, and online service information. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Missouri State Safety & Emissions Inspector's License preferred. ASE certifications preferred. Experience with modern vehicle electronics and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) is a plus.

Pay: $30 – $45 per hour / flat-rate, depending on experience and qualifications Experienced A-level technicians with strong diagnostic abilities and certifications are encouraged to apply.
