This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily business office operations while supporting residents, families, and facility leadership in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment. The Business Office Manager plays a vital role in ensuring smooth financial and administrative operations while maintaining compassionate service and professionalism in every interaction. Your Role:- Process and monitor Medicaid pending applications
- Prepare and submit write-off requests according to collection policies
- Prepare and manage daily deposits
- Oversee all Accounts Payable functions
- Coordinate and oversee payroll processes
- Supervise Business Office staff and workflow
- Maintain accurate financial and administrative records
- Ensure compliance with billing practices, Medicaid/Medicare regulations, and facility policies
- Assist leadership with additional administrative duties as needed
- Support residents and families with professionalism and compassion
- Who We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, insurance billing, payroll, or healthcare business office operations preferred
- Knowledge of computerized office systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused mindset
- Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions effectively
