We are representing an established Florida firm seeking a Private Client Associate to join its Trusts & Estates group. Private client work is a core part of the firm's practice, and the group is well regarded in its market. This is a strong opportunity for an attorney with a transactional private client practice who wants a clear path to shareholder in a firm that rewards individual contribution. The group advises high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners and fiduciaries on sophisticated planning. The mandate is specifically looking for a candidate with experience in estate planning and tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies, spanning estate and gift tax, closely held business and succession planning, and asset protection.

- Solid grounding in Florida and federal tax law as it applies to estate and gift planning
- Excellent technical, professional and client service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented, with an emphasis on collaboration
- Effective, proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Interest in building a book of business and growing toward a shareholder role
Benefits:- Modest billable hour requirement, below what many peer firms ask
- Compensation based on individual performance and direct conversation, not a rigid lockstep scale
- Real path to shareholder for those who build a practice
- Collaborative T&E group with experienced, highly regarded senior planners
- Exposure to sophisticated matters for individuals, families, fiduciaries and business owners across a range of industries, supported by tax and business law colleagues
